Find your Footing

Life can knock us off balance.

Therapy is a place to slow things down, get our bearings, and move forward with more clarity and direction.

No pressure. Just space to figure things out and build something steadier.

About

I’m a counselling intern at Red Spruce Mental Health Centre in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, completing a Master of Education in Counselling at Acadia University.

I hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley and completed post-baccalaureate coursework in psychology at the University of Victoria.

My background is in health, safety, and rehabilitation, where I worked as a kinesiologist and in occupational health and safety, supporting people navigating injury, stress, and major life transitions.

Outside of school and practicum work, I spend a lot of time outdoors, surfing, snowboarding, and cycling. Music and movies also play a big part in my life.

My approach is grounded, practical, and relational.

The focus is on creating a space where you can show up as you are, without needing to have it all figured out.

I work from a person-centred, trauma-informed lens, with attention to how the mind and body are connected.

Together, we’ll look at what’s going on beneath the surface, how your experiences have shaped you, and what direction you want to move in.

It’s about understanding what’s happening, building awareness, and finding a way forward that fits who you are.
